Early Humans

As archeologists seek to learn about early humans and find artifacts from the past, historians are left to examine the objects and tell their stories.

What was the artifact used for? Was it an object of convenience? Was it a tool? How was it used? What did it say about the people of the past?

YOUR ASSIGNMENT is to think of an object you own today. If an archeologist were to find this object 20,000 years from now, what would they think? What would it tell about you? Write at least one paragraph, from a historian’s perspective, describing your object and what it tells about you.
